Incident Report for Amplitude

On 7/31/2023 our query service was experiencing slowness from 1:30am PT to 5:30am PT for some customers. The system recovered at 5:30am and typical chart latency was restored.

a) Our ingestion systems were working as expected and we were not losing any data.
b) Around 25% of our customers were impacted.
c) Impacted customers experienced slow loading times or errors when loading Amplitude web pages.

We are actively investigating the issue and will provide an update once the root cause is identified.
